Sitting at my Nan’s table in the (cough cough) late seventies was little old me – painting, pasting, colouring and drawing to create my own beautiful little world in which I could get completely lost. Nan was a big fan of Anzac cookies, Frank Sinatra, but most importantly – encouraging creativity in all its forms. Being creative is in my genes – I owe my Nan a lot!
When I became a grown-up (whatever that means – ha!) I went on to study graphic design and I still paint, sketch, write, screen-print. I’m still creating that ‘little world’ via my favourite medium – photography, and I’m just a little bit in love with product styling!
I’m also lucky enough to see life through the eyes of my girl. She’s my 7-year-old partner-in-crime-and-creativity. She’s my inspiration and a fab little teacher.
Me&MyGirl was born from a need for me to express my creativity throughout those knuckle-down toddler parenting years. Now Ava is at school, Me&MyGirl has evolved into a full-blown visual storytelling photography service based in Melbourne – offering small business and brands my keen eye for design, colour and detail.
I can create punchy visuals for brands wanting to express their personality and engage their customers via excellent product and lifestyle photography, which can be used on social media platforms, blogs, brochures and websites. To find out more, visit my ‘Photography & Styling Services‘ page.
