I love this app! It’s really well designed and very intuitive. There are activities for rainy days and sunny days and within each of these, you can choose to ‘imagine’, ‘create’ or ‘move’.
‘Imagine’ gives you fun ideas for role playing and discovering, such as creating a treasure hunt or making a sensory garden. ‘Create’ is more craft oriented with activities like footpath artwork and ice cube painting. ‘Move’ gets you up and at it with fun stuff like dress ups and indoor bowling.
When you find an activity you like, you can bookmark it by clicking ‘Love it’ and then go back to it later. I already have quite a few in my ‘Love it’ file and will be using it this weekend for sure.
I found the app first but have since found the full website which includes loads more fun stuff to help you drag the kids away from TV, iPads, tablets and any kind of gadgets.
PLEASE NOTE: This is in no way a sponsored post, I just love that I found Busy Little Kids and wanted to share it with you.
