When I asked Ava what she wanted to do for her 5th birthday party, she asked if she could have a Frozen party (no surprises there!). So I decided to combine her love of craft and the film into a Frozen craft party.
So last weekend it was party time at Little Fete and it was a huge success! I’ve been following Little Fete on social media for a while now and it was lovely to finally meet the ladies behind the brand.
The set up at Little Fete is perfect for parties. The front of the shop is where the creating happens and there’s a smaller room where the kids eat and have birthday cake. It was set up like a Frozen disco with gorgeous snowflake decorations, a life-size Elsa & Anna prop, soft disco lights and a table to display the cake and party bags. Music from the film played as well as fun pop songs. There’s plenty of space for the parents to hang out and make tea and coffee while the kids create.
The girls made a Frozen-themed bracelet and painted and decorated a heart-shaped jewellery box. The boys made a pirate bracelet and painted and decorated a treasure chest. The kids had an absolute ball and were incredibly well behaved. It was lovely to see them concentrating on the activities and they were so excited to take their creations home.
As fas as parties go, this has been (by far) the easiest, most relaxed and most fun party to date. The Little Fete ladies run a very tight ship and are so great with the kids. Ava and I are looking forward to going back for some craft workshops soon.
