Recently Ava’s Nana gave her a pack of eeBoo ‘Scratch’ papers from the store Seed. I hadn’t seen these before and they are brilliant. The pack contains sheets of black cardboard that have coloured and patterned holographic shapes underneath the black coating. They come with a bamboo pencil tool, which you use to scratch to reveal the patterns.
Seed have lots of lovely gift ideas including art and craft based items like the scratch papers, super stylish and pretty colouring books, paper doll kits, paper plane sets and lots more. I always know I can find unique presents there for special birthdays and particularly for newborns. Oh and the clothes are just gorgeous too! Recently I overheard a customer telling the shop assistant that her husband thinks that it’s a specialised garden centre, ha!
Kikki.K is my favourite shop for stylish and more luxurious craft supplies. I’m a bit addicted to their lovely products and have quite the collection of creative stamps, stamp pads, stickers, tags, notebooks and more. I’ll be honest though and admit that I keep most of these for my own creative work and only use them with Ava under supervision. They are way too nice for little hands to mess up!
Pavement Brands is another store which has a great range of stationery and creative gifts/supplies. They predominantly sell clothes for youngsters aged about ten through to teenage years and the whole store oozes fun and creativity. Their notebooks have super cool cover designs that I actually buy for my designer mates who are a little bit notebook-mad. I can’t decide which one I like more, the tiger in the jungle or the pixelated hamburger!
