My passion for photography is very strong and I have a tendency to live life through the lens, waiting for that next elusive shot.
Like most kids, Ava has been fascinated with my iPhone camera since she was very small. Last year for her 3rd birthday, I decided to buy her a camera of her own so we could go on photographic adventures together.
After a bit of research, I came across a brand called VTech and really liked the look of the Kidizoom Twist Digital Camera. One key feature being a strong protective rubber casing, as Ava has my tendency to be a bit of a klutz!
It’s a basic kids digital camera that has all the features of a proper camera like a zoom, built-in flash and a small colour display. I love that it has dual viewfinders because it is hard for kids to squint and use one. It even lets your little one twist the viewfinders around so that they can take their own selfies, ha!
It also has a few games and add-on features like framing, stamps and fun effects. The voice recording function with different voice-changing effects, including ‘robot’, is a silly added bonus.
I can’t wait for our next shoot!
